How I Paid For College was a hilariously written book. The main character Edward is a theater student growing up in a small New Jersey town in the year of 1984. Edward auditions for a sport at the most prestige acting school in the country, Julliard. To his own disbelief he snags a spot in the upcoming semester for his freshmen year of college. Edward's father refuses to pay for the school because he does not believe that acting is an acceptable career for a young gentlemen. Together Edward and his best friends launch a plan involving theft, imbezzelment, and trickery as they attempt to steal the tuition of 10, 000 from Edward's own father. The bonded friendships that they form throughout the journey is indescribable . This book was entertaining and very fun to read.
