Border Lines by Caroline Kraus is about two young women. Caroline and Jane met at work and are best friends. Completely entwined in each other's lives. Jane is charismatic, in fact everyone she meets seems to be under her spell; and Caroline is lucky enough to be in her inner circle. But their relationship is a strange one. A sexless marriage the Way Jane describes it. And not an easy one For Caroline, Jane is living off of Caroline's inheritance, sabotaging her relationships with the other people in her life, and when Caroline wont do what she wants Jane cuts herself. And when she tries to get out Jane attacks her, and threatens to kill herself. This novel is original to say the least. I couldn't put in down. You can sympathize with Caroline and even Jane at times. And you can feel the bond between them and the certain sickness to it.
