Candy

Candy is the story of a teenage boy who finds himself infatuated, borderline obsessed with a heroin addicted prostitute named candy. She seems to like him to and they spend some time together until it angers Candy's pimp. Candy tells Joe to stay away for his own good but he simply can't do it. He tracks her down to her house, but her pimp finds them there and is going to kill Joe and punish Candy for not listening to him. i wont give away the end but it's a good one.Personally i liked this book. It's got the kind of suspense that it's hard to capture in the written word. And great thought flow. And Candy herself is a very well developed character; you can understand how she ended up in this situation even though the situation itself is larger-than-life. Very easy to relate to.
