Be True To Your School by Bob Greene

Be True To Your School is a coming of age novel about the life and times of High Schooler Bob Greene. The year is 1964, and Greene and his friends spend their summers crusing the town of Bexly, OH and listening to the Beatles. Anyone who is, or was ever in high school should read this book. Not only does it provide the insight to a young teen's mind, it also relates to events that affect almost any highschooler. From a series of bad hair cuts, to heartbreaks, Greenes novel really relates. This is a must read.
