Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

The novel Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is one of the best books I have ever read especially being a teenager. It portrays the modern coming of age teenage rock junkie who love’s music and to “party”. It’s a love story you don’t want to end. Nick is in band, he’s handsome, and he just got his heart broken by his ex girlfriend Tris. Norah is described as a plain, goody good type who loves punk rock music and is always looking out for her best friend Caroline.

They meet at a concert that Nick’s band was also playing in. When Nick sees’s Tris with another guy he decides to ask Norah to be his girlfriend for 5 minutes. He then pulls her in and starts making out with her, right in front of Tris. They become very attracted to each other and the kiss they shared isn’t the last of them. Nick’s friend offers to take Caroline home and tells Norah to show his friend Nick a good time in the city of Manhattan. They spend their night on the town where they go to a strip club, eat at some diner, walk around the city of Manhattan at night, and watching the Sunrise together.

Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is a great book for teenagers, there is a lot of cursing but it’s all to portray a modern age teenage boy and girl falling in love. You will not be disappointed if read this novel, it’s potentially in my opinion one of the best young adult fiction novels out there.
